Where Makeships is going next.
What just shipped, what we're building now, and what comes after, led by a retail model that runs in your own cloud. Everything past "Just shipped" is a plan, not a promise, so there are no dates. Tell us what you need and it moves up the list.

Makeships Retail LLM
General-purpose models are good at everything and tuned for nothing in particular. We're building a small model trained for the work an online seller actually does, in any country: products, tax, stock, suppliers and customers. It runs on your own machine, so your catalogue, costs and customer messages never leave it.
The apps can already run their assistant and agents on a model you host, through Ollama, LM Studio or vLLM. The Retail LLM will plug into that same setting: choose it in Integrations → AI models, and every agent uses it.
-
Runs in your cloud
Served by Ollama or vLLM on your own GPU or CPU, through the same model setting the apps already have.
-
No per-token bill
You pay for the machine, not for every product description.
-
Your data stays put
Nothing is sent to a model provider, and your data is never used to train it unless you choose to share it.
-
Same guardrails
It works through the same agent policies, approvals and undo as any other model.
-
Open weights
Published with its evaluation results, so you can check what it's good at before you rely on it.
What it's for
-
Catalogue
Product titles, attributes, size charts and descriptions from a photo or a supplier's sheet, in your style.
-
Tax and customs
Suggests the HS or HSN code and the VAT, GST or sales-tax treatment for a new product, with its reasoning, for you to confirm.
-
Buying
Explains reorder suggestions, drafts purchase requests and supplier emails, and reads supplier invoices into lines.
-
Customers
Answers "where's my order", return and delivery questions in your customers' languages.
Help shape it
We're looking for a few stores to test early versions on their own catalogue and compare it with the model they use today. You keep your data; we share the results.
